ESS Technology is a privately held fabless semiconductor company that designs and sells mobile devices, consumer electronics, automotive and professional hi-fi system for high-performance analog and audio equipment. The company was established by the Forest Mozer in 1984 for the various devices making a synthetic speech. The first generation of these devices includes intelligent voice toys, as well as Commodore 64 and other signs of the home computer system. Today, ESS Technology 's most famous product is SABRE series of high-performance audio products.
