The VSMY98545 uses a 42mil x 42mil transmitter chip with junction to pin thermal resistance of 10K / W, drive current up to 1A and pulse current up to 5A.?The transmitter integrated lens supports a ± 45 ° half-power angle and delivers ultra-high luminous intensities of 350mW / sr and 1600mW / sr at 1A and 5A (pulse) currents, more than twice the luminous intensity of non-lens devices.?With an extremely high drive current and an optical power of 660mW at 1A, the VSMY98545 can replace multiple standard SMD devices, enabling designers to reduce component count and improve performance in a wide variety of applications.?Launchers are ideal for infrared lighting in CCTV, gaming and road toll systems, and long distance ranging applications such as wake-up in office equipment by detecting the presence or absence of people.?
