Interface - Controllers : 2538 Products
Interface controllers are similar to the interface controller of the array controller in a disk array, thus adding an intelligence layer between the tape drive and the SAN. They are externally connected to the SAN and provide a network interface for the tape library. Internally, they connect to Fibre Channel or SCSI tape drives. As a result, the interface controller manages shared network access and provides much of the required reliability and security.
