A chip on board (COB) is similar to an LED module, except that it combines multiple LED grains into a single package to form a monochromatic light system. These large light emitting devices can be used as a single LED large light source to produce extremely bright light. An LED module is an LED accessory consisting of discrete LEDs, which does not contain an integrated current limiting circuit.
