Stable negative power supply circuit optimized for input voltage variations, supporting negative voltage output -3.3V

Terex Semiconductor Co., Ltd. has developed a coil-integrated "micro DC/DC" converter supporting the negative voltage output and the XCL301 series.

By adding two ceramic capacitors and Schottky diodes to an external device, an inverting output DC/DC circuit can be formed. Therefore, it contributes to saving space for the substrate area and shortening the development period. In addition, with the built-in coil, the board design becomes easy, and unnecessary radiation noise and operational failure of the circuit can be minimized.

The control mode is PFM/fixed off-time PWM automatic switching control. By switching the work from fixed off-time PWM control to PFM control at light load, the entire load area from light load to heavy load is achieved with high efficiency, most suitable for attention. High-efficiency devices with light loads and devices that worry about battery life.

The products developed this time are included in the product lineup, so that they can be used to select products for further use. In the future, Terry will also try to expand the "micro DC/DC" XCL series products that meet market demand.
