Diodes' new 40V and 60V dual-channel, co-packaged enhanced MOSFETs, the DMNH4015SSDQ and DMTH6016LSDQ, feature low quality factor (FOM) on-resistance and gate charge specifications; both minimize power consumption A cost-effective, high-efficiency, automotive-compliant power management solution. Designed for synchronous rectification applications in automotive instrument clusters, head-up displays, infotainment, navigation and driver assistance systems, the DMNH4015SSDQ and DMTH6016LSDQ meet the high reliability requirements of the AEC-Q101 Rev-D standard and are PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) provide support.
When combined with a PWM control IC, these dual MOSFET devices create a highly efficient, cost-effective DC-DC converter. For example, when switching at 400kHz, the 60V DMTH6016LSD can deliver 5V at 2A load current while achieving 95% efficiency. Similarly, the 40V DMNH4015SSDQ provides a 5V output at 2A with an efficiency of 91%.
Both devices feature a 100% avalanche rating that can withstand high pulse energies caused by inductive loads and a maximum junction temperature of +175°C when operating in high ambient temperatures.
