PT7M3808

Diodes Corporation introduces the PT7M3808 family of microprocessor supervisory circuits that monitor system voltages from 0.4V to 5.0V. With a threshold accuracy of 0.5% and adjustable settling time of 1.25ms to 10ms, these small form-factor devices provide power-on reset for microprocessors and other digital systems with extremely low power consumption. Applications include laptops, desktop computers and battery-powered portable devices, from data centers to security systems.

The PT7M3808 offers a fixed-threshold version of the 0.9V to 5V standard rail and an adjustable threshold of 0.4V, with a precision reference that provides 0.5% negative input threshold accuracy and 3.3-V monitoring when monitoring up to 3.3V Accuracy at V to 5.0V is 1%. The delay time can be adjusted from 1.25ms to 10ms when connecting an external capacitor to the CT pin. A longer 20ms delay can be achieved by turning off the CT pin. A 300ms delay can be achieved by connecting the CT pin to VDD with a resistor.

The PT7M3808 has a very low quiescent current, typically 2.8A, making it ideal for battery-powered applications. The PT7M3808 is available in SOT26 and DFN2020-6 packages and occupies minimal board space for new and direct replacement designs.
