TDK Group once again expanded its HVC series of high voltage contactor product portfolios and introduced two new cutting-edge products, the HVC300 and HVC500 with 300A and 500A operating current, respectively. The new contactor can break DC voltages up to 900V. In addition, TDK Group can also provide customized models with working voltage up to 1200 V DC according to customer requirements. The contactor's built-in gas fills the enclosed space and can quickly and safely extinguish the arc generated by breaking the DC load. The HVC high voltage contactor has an extremely fast switching speed and an extremely short arc duration, ensuring reliable operation over its entire service life. The new product follows the consistent compact design of the HVC series, and is the same size as the HVC 200 contactor with a working current of 200A, which is 89 mm x 44 mm x 93.5 mm (length x width x height) and can also provide an operating voltage of 12 V or 24 V Coil. In addition, some models in this series are also equipped with output options for detecting switch status.
The HVC series is especially suitable for battery management systems and DC charging stations in the field of electric vehicle applications. It is widely used in DC traction systems, photovoltaic systems, energy storage systems, and uninterruptible power supplies Applications.
