TDK Corporation has developed MLD2012 series laminated inductors for automotive power circuits. This new series of components is based on a ferrite core and is housed in a compact IEC 2012 (EIA 0805) package that occupies an area of ​​2.0 mm x 1.25 mm with an insertion height of only 0.5 mm. This family of power inductors is AEC-Q200 certified, with an inductance of 0.47 μH to 47 μH and a rated current of 750 mA to 1200 mA. Thanks to its excellent electrical performance and a wide operating temperature range (-40 °C to +125 °C), this small component is suitable for automotive applications, in particular advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) where, for example, they can Helps achieve smaller cameras. MLD2012 inductors are also suitable for in-vehicle infotainment systems (IVI) and in-vehicle information systems as well as various automotive engine electronic control units (ECUs) and modules.
