Littelfuse Introduces Industry's First SCR Thyristor with D-PAK, Junction Temperature of 150°C

Ideal for heating and phase control, motor speed control and switching applications such as converter/rectifier and CDI

Littelfuse, Inc., a global leader in the field of circuit protection, today announced the introduction of high temperature SCR (silicon controlled rectifier) ​​thyristors - the first of its kind with a junction temperature of up to 150°C and compact surface mount D-PAK (TO- 252) Package. This product is also available in through-hole V-PAK (TO-251) packages. At a voltage of approximately 1.5V, the gate current trigger level of the standard SJ-series SCR thyristors is as low as 6mA (up to 15 mA). The gate trigger current of sensitive products in this series is less than 200μA. Sensitive gate thyristors are easily triggered by induction coils, proximity switches, and microprocessors.
