ON Semiconductor will showcase innovations in a variety of areas that are rapidly evolving and high-profile at Embedded World

ON Semiconductor (Nasdaq: ON), this year's Embedded World show will focus on the electronics industry's three most prominent and fastest-growing areas, demonstrated in the Internet of Things (IoT), Wireless and USB Type-C power/charge, as well as solutions and tools for car image sensing.

In the IoT space, ON Semiconductor will present its first RSL10 Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) ultra-low-power, multi-protocol 2.4 GHz radio system single-chip (SoC) for the first time at Embedded World. The device is targeted at the critical and rapidly growing market for high performance wearable and medical applications. In addition, ON Semiconductor will demonstrate the ability to streamline and accelerate IoT design with the IoT development kit. The kit provides engineers with a rapid prototyping platform with industry-standard interfaces that are fully configurable and include extensive software support. Finally, in this area, ON Semiconductor will showcase a new home and office motion detection application developed by SIGFOX.

Wired and wireless charging is important to designers and portable device users seeking to quickly and easily charge their devices. ON Semiconductor will showcase the energy-efficient AirFuelTM magnetic resonance wireless charging solution from 2 watts (W) to 50W. In addition, there is a USB Type-C wired power solution designed for mobile power, wall plug-in power supplies, travel adapters and car chargers.
