Power Factor Corrects Wide Operating Voltage Range Silicon Controlled Rectifier Module

TDK Group recently introduced the new EPCOS TSM-LC-NC690 thyristor rectifier module. The new module's operating voltage range is further expanded for power factor correction (PFC) applications up to 690 V AC. The module performs 2-phase switching of the capacitor, eliminating the need for a neutral conductor. In addition, the new module is designed for applications with reactive powers from 40 kvar up to 75 kvar depending on the operating voltage and can switch currents up to 60 Amps.

The module can continuously monitor the voltage, phase and temperature, the performance is extremely reliable.
