STMicroelectronics Discovery Kit ST25R3911B-DISCO integrates ST25R3911B NFC reader chip and STM32L476RE ultra-low-power microcontroller to shorten the development cycle of non-connected applications, achieve excellent communication distance, speed and energy efficiency, with simplified design and lower Material cost. The Discovery Kit board provides designers with an RF circuit layout reference design that uses the additional STM32 microcontroller software to quickly power up the board for use as an HF reader or NFC-initiated device.

At the heart of ST's new Discovery Suite, the ST25R3911B NFC Reader Chip provides designers with product differentiation capabilities that simplify functional integration, streamline product manufacturing, and ensure a superior user experience. The power consumption optimization function of the reader chip is also excellent, including dynamic power output, which provides the minimum power required for the initiating device to communicate with the receiving device, thereby avoiding waste of power.
