Terex Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (Chairman of Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Japan: Shigeki Shiji, Second Tokyo Stock Exchange: 6616) Developed a current-carrying function for 1-cell lithium-ion/polymer secondary batteries (below Lithium battery) charging IC [XC6806 series products].
The current path function of the XC6806 series product developed by Tracy can control the battery charging and the current supplied to the system at an exact value. Compared with the previous products, the voltage at the time of completing the charging can be set within a wide range, and it can also be applied to various lithium batteries (charging voltage range: 3.5V to 4.45V). In addition, a shutdown function is also installed to completely stop supplying power from the battery to the machine. Since the leakage current of the battery can be suppressed to 100 nA in the state where the machine is not in use, a low current consumption device driven by a small battery can be used for a longer period of time.
The USP-10B (2.9x2.6xh0.6mm) and LGA-10B01 (2.5x1.6xh0.4mm) package components, which are small and have excellent heat dissipation properties, can be used for package selection.
