Terex Semiconductor Expands Lineup of Fast Transient Response HiSAT-COT Control Products

TOREX SEMICONDUCTOR LTD. Tokyo, Japan: 6616: Tokyo Stock Exchange, Dongzheng 2) Developed a 5.5V synchronous step-down DC 疍C converter XC9273 with its own fast transient response control HiSAT-COT series.

In recent years, low-voltage step-down DC/DC converters are becoming one of the big markets, and the demand from customers is also increasing. Including the fast transient response control HiSAT-COT (hereinafter referred to as "HiSAT-COT control") 7 series, the XC9273 also uses HiSAT-COT control to expand the product lineup.

The XC9273 series is a 3.0A synchronous step-down DC/DC converter with HiSAT-COT control, 5.5V operation and built-in drive transistor.

It is best suited as a POL power supply for devices with large load variations such as FPGAs and ASICs.

The output current is 3.0A, the input voltage range is 2.7V to 5.5V, the output voltage range is 0.8V to 3.6V, and the FB voltage accuracy is ±1.0%. The switching frequency can be selected from 1.2MHz and 3.0MHz. The soft start function will start quickly at 0.25ms (internal fixed), or it can be arbitrarily set according to external resistance and capacity. The protection circuit has an overcurrent protection circuit, a short circuit protection circuit, and a thermal shutdown circuit. Short circuit Latch and Hiccup can be selected with Mode Pin2. The package is available in a low-profile package QFN0404-24C (4.0 x 4.0 x h0.75mm).
