Texas Instruments introduced the new MSP430 microcontroller features up to 25

Developers can use TI's Value Line microcontrollers to configure simple sensing capabilities
Texas Instruments microcontrollers has released the ultra-low cost MSP430 ™ microcontrollers (MCUs) for sensing applications. Developers now have a simple sensing solution with a variety of integrated mixed-signal capabilities in the MSP430 family of value-sensing MCUs. New additions to the series include two new entry-level devices and a new TI LaunchPad ™ development kit to help users quickly and easily evaluate.
TI MSP430 Value Sensing Series MCU Features and Benefits
Developers can now use code sample libraries to flexibly customize 25 popular system-level functions including timers, I / O expanders, system reset controllers, electrically erasable programmable read-only memories (EEPROMs), and more.
The versatile core architecture, tools and software ecosystem, and extensive documentation including migration guides make it easy for developers to choose the right MSP430 Value Sensing Series MCU for each design.
Designers can scale from the 0.5 KB MSP430FR2000 MCUs to the MSP430 sensing and measurement MCU product family to meet the needs of applications that require up to 256 KB of memory, higher performance, or more analog peripherals.
The new MSP430FR2000 and MSP430FR2100 MCUs with 0.5 KB and 1 KB memory, respectively, and a new development kit add to the MSP430 Value Sensing family of microcontrollers including the MSP430FR2111, MSP430FR2311, MSP430FR2033, MSP430FR2433 and MSP430FR4133 microcontrollers and associated development tools and software .
Availability
Developers can purchase Value Sensing products at TI stores, and the new MSP430FR2433 LaunchPad Development Kit (MSP-EXP430FR2433) is available from TI shops and authorized distributors. Today until December 31, 2017, the TI Store offers a LaunchPad suite of promotions.
