TI Introduces Stackable 16V Input, 40A SWIFTTM DC/DC Buck Converter with Innovative Control Topology

Texas Instruments has introduced the industry's first 16 V input, 40 A synchronous step-down DC/DC converter with built-in compensated Advanced Current Mode (ACM) control topology that supports frequency synchronization. Designers can stack up to two converters side-by-side to drive loads up to 80A to meet the processor needs of space-constrained and power-intensive applications in a variety of markets, including wired and wireless communications, enterprise computing and cloud computing, and data Storage System.
