Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. today announced the release of the T34, a new family of HI-TMP® tantalum sealing liquid tantalum capacitors that operate at temperatures up to +200 ° C. T34 Series axial lead through-hole devices offer increased reliability, improved resistance to mechanical shock and vibration, and longer service life for industrial and petroleum exploration applications.

The capacitors released today are suitable for timing, filtering, energy storage and pulsed power applications with strong resistance to vibration (sinusoidal vibration: 80g; random vibration: 54g) and mechanical shock (500g) at +200 ° C Life expectancy more than 1000 hours. The T34 Series is available in four form factors, A, B, C, and D, with voltage ratings from 25VDC to 125VDC and capacitances from 10μF to 470μF, and Vishay also plans to expand the capacitance to levels comparable to today's Sprague 134D series with capacitance tolerances up to ± 10%, standard tolerance is ± 20%.

The devices operate from -55 ° C to + 85 ° C with + 200 ° C voltage derating and a maximum ESR of only 0.75Ω @ 120Hz and + 25 ° C. Capacitors RoHS and Vishay Green, halogen-free, lead-free and tin / lead (Sn / Pb) termination.

Samples are now available for the T34 Series and mass production has been achieved. Lead times for bulk orders are twelve weeks.
