High-sensitivity and durable 3D transponder transponder coils for automotive applications

The TDK Group has launched a new series of transponder coils with a high sensitivity for passive passive entry systems (PEPS) and other access control systems. Among them, the B82453C*A* series 3D transponder transponder coils are extremely compact, measuring only 11.5mmx12.5mmx3.6mm, with 6 different models, with sensitivity ranging from 45mV/μT to 83mV/μT, and inductance values ​​ranging from 4.75mH to 13.2mH. . The transponder transponder coil has a center frequency of 125 kHz. The core geometry of the new 3D transponder transponder coils is optimized to make the sensitivity about 20% higher than that of previous-generation transponder transponder coils with similar geometries and inductance values ​​or competitive products of the same type. This can significantly extend the effective effective distance of the wake-up function of the onboard PEPS system.

The 3D transponder transponder coils are compatible with the RoHS directive, using a rugged, one-piece molded housing, and the winding terminals are laser welded. Therefore, they have excellent mechanical stability, and this characteristic has been confirmed by the severe drop test necessary for PEPS applications. In addition, the new transponder transponder coil also meets the AEC-Q200 standard reliability test.
