The LTC3615EUF from Linear Technology is a high performance, synchronous buck regulator that delivers up to 3A of continuous output current. It operates from a wide input voltage range of 2.25V to 5.5V, making it ideal for single-cell Li-Ion/Polymer, or multi-cell alkaline/NiCd/NiMH applications, as well as standard 3.3V and 5V power rails.

With its internal switches, the LTC3615EUF can provide high efficiency at a switching frequency of up to 4MHz, allowing the use of small surface-mount inductors and capacitors.
