
Prove & Run, an ultra-secure off-the-shelf software solution provider for ST and connected systems, recently unveiled a scalable IoT hardware security platform.
The security platform integrates Prove & Run's ProvenCore-MTM high security operating system and ST's industry-leading STM32L4TM Secure Microcontroller (MCU) and its STCFETM-A100 security unit certified by Common Criteria. The Common Criteria Common Criteria certification component enables the platform to meet the security needs of IoT hardware from the most basic to the highest level.
The new security platform simplifies the development of high-security IoT products, allowing developers to focus on developing the functionality of their applications. The security platform does not require designers to have professional data security R&D skills, as the platform's security services have been verified by security verification and testing. Security services include application isolation, secure boot, secure firmware updates, and key storage to prevent physical attacks.

· STM32L4 microcontroller: Integrates ST's ultra-low-power technology with the ARM® Cortex®-M4 processor core for next-generation consumer electronics, industrial, medical and metering devices that focus on energy consumption. The STM32L4 achieves a maximum processing performance of 100 DMIPS and consumes only 37μA/MHz. In addition to a large number of intelligent peripherals, advanced low-power analog circuitry, up to 1 Mb of flash memory and 320 KB of SRAM, the STM32L4 microcontroller also integrates multiple security functions (MPU, debug cycle, execution-only protection) for design People can develop high-security, robust, and reliable embedded solutions.
