Over voltage protection working temperature higher pressure sensitive resistance

TDK Group's leaded EPCOS metal oxide chip varistors have been certified to operate at 105 °C
(previously 85 ° C). The B722 series of varistors are certified to UL1449 (4th edition) and IEC61051 standards. The climate category of this series of varistors has also changed from 40/85/56 to 40/105/56 due to the increase in operating temperature to 105 °C. These varistors are encapsulated in epoxy resin and their flame retardant properties are in accordance with UL94 V-0.

A wide range of EPCOS varistors operate between 11VRMS and 1100 VRMS and can withstand up to 20kA (8/20μs) of inrush current, depending on the model.
