LTC3411IDD High Efficiency, 4MHz, 600mA Synchronous Step-Down Regulator

The LTC3411IDD from Linear Technology is a high-performance, synchronous step-down regulator that combines advanced design and high-quality manufacturing to provide efficient power management for a wide range of applications. This compact and versatile device is capable of delivering up to 600mA of continuous output current at voltages as low as 0.8V, making it an ideal choice for portable and space-constrained electronics.

The LTC3411IDD operates at a high switching frequency of 4MHz, which allows the use of small surface-mount inductors and capacitors, thereby reducing the overall solution footprint and saving board space. This high frequency also enables fast transient response, ensuring stable operation even under dynamic load conditions.

Featuring a wide input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V, the LTC3411IDD is well-suited for single-cell Li-Ion, multi-cell alkaline, or NiMH applications, as well as for 3.3V or 5V intermediate bus systems. The device also offers selectable Burst Mode® operation, which significantly improves efficiency at light loads by reducing quiescent current.
