Description

The SG6840D is a voltage mode PWM controller that is designed for off-line power supplies.

  • Function: Provides a fixed-frequency pulse-width modulation (PWM) that is used to regulate the output voltage of an off-line flyback converter
  • Features: Designed to operate from a wide input voltage range and has a built-in high-voltage startup circuit; also includes a soft-start function that limits the inrush current during startup
  • Applications: Ideal for use in applications such as LCD monitors, TVs, and other consumer electronics products
