The MAX4642EUA from Maxim Integrated is a high-performance, single-pole/double-throw (SPDT) analog switch that offers a perfect balance of low power consumption and high-speed operation. Designed with precision and reliability in mind, this compact switch is housed in a space-saving 8-pin µMAX package, making it an ideal choice for applications where board space is at a premium.

With a wide analog signal range, the MAX4642EUA operates from a single +1.8V to +5.5V supply, making it versatile for various uses, including battery-powered devices. Its low on-resistance (Ron) of just 0.5Ω (max) at a +5V supply ensures minimal signal attenuation, while the on-resistance match between channels is less than 0.05Ω (max), providing excellent channel-to-channel uniformity.

One of the standout features of the MAX4642EUA is its fast switching speeds, with tON as low as 20ns and tOFF as low as 10ns.
