The TC74VHC157F is a high-speed CMOS quad 2-to-1 line data selector/multiplexer fabricated with silicon gate CMOS technology by Toshiba Semiconductor and Storage. It achieves high-speed operation similar to equivalent Bipolar Schottky TTL devices, while maintaining the CMOS low power dissipation. It selects four bits of data from two sources using a common select input (S). When the enable input (G) is HIGH, all outputs are forced LOW.
Applications
- Data selection
- Parallel-to-serial conversion
- Logic function generation
Features
- High-speed operation: tpd = 4.7 ns (typ.) at VCC = 5 V
- Low power dissipation: ICC = 4 μA (max) at Ta = 25°C
- High noise immunity: VNIH = VNIL = 28 % VCC (min)
- Output drive capability: 10 LSTTL loads
- Symmetrical output impedance: |IOH| = IOL = 8 mA (min)
- Balanced propagation delays: tPLH ≈ tPHL
- Wide operating voltage range: VCC = 2 V to 5.5 V
- Pin and function compatible with 74HC157
