The ON Semiconductor MC100EP11D is a high-speed differential receiver/driver designed to offer exceptional performance in applications requiring precise electrical timing and high data throughput. This device is a part of ON Semiconductor's 100EP series, known for its high-speed Emitter Coupled Logic (ECL) technology. The MC100EP11D's outputs can be directly connected to a 50 Ω transmission line and can be terminated with a 50 Ω resistor to VCC - 2V or Thevenin equivalent. This flexibility in termination ensures that the device can be easily integrated into various system designs.

With its excellent noise immunity, the MC100EP11D is designed to perform reliably in environments with high electrical interference. The device also features a very low typical propagation delay of 175 ps and a rise and fall time of 75 ps, ensuring that high-speed signals are transmitted with high fidelity and minimal delay.
