Additional Details
The HD74HC164P-E has two serial data inputs (A and B) and eight parallel outputs (Q0-Q7). Data is serially entered into the register on each positive clock transition if both A and B are HIGH. A low level on the clear (CLR) input overrides all other inputs and forces all outputs LOW. This device is supplied in a 14-pin DIP package.
Absolute Maximum Ratings: Supply Voltage (VCC): -0.5 to +7.0 V, DC Input Voltage (VI): -0.5 to VCC + 0.5 V, DC Output Voltage (VO): -0.5 to VCC + 0.5 V, Operating Temperature (Topr): -40 to +85 °C.
