STMicroelectronics B-L4S5I-IOT01A Discovery Kit
The B-L4S5I-IOT01A Discovery kit is a versatile and highly integrated development tool designed by STMicroelectronics to facilitate the development of applications for the Internet of Things (IoT). It is based on the STM32L4 Series which is known for its ultra-low-power microcontrollers, making it an ideal choice for battery-operated IoT devices.
This Discovery kit features the STM32L4S5VI MCU, which incorporates the high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M4 32-bit RISC core operating at a frequency of up to 80 MHz. The MCU also includes a floating-point unit (FPU), which allows the kit to handle complex computations with ease. The STM32L4S5VI MCU's dynamic efficiency is achieved through an artful balance of performance and power consumption, offering an energy-saving flexible power control to ensure the longevity of battery life in IoT applications.
Connectivity is a key feature of the B-L4S5I-IOT01A, providing support for a wide range of wireless protocols. It includes an on-board ST-LINK/V2-1 debugger/programmer, which simplifies the process of programming and debugging, thus accelerating the development cycle.
