  • Type: synchronous 4-bit up/down counter
  • Counting: sequences from binary (0000) to binary (1111) and vice versa
  • Modes: up and down counting modes
  • Control: synchronously controlled by a low-to-high transition of the clock (CLK) input
  • Direction: determined by the up/down (U/D) input
  • Clear Input (CLR): resets the count to binary (0000)
  • Load Input (LOAD): overrides the counting operation and loads the data
