The FOD0701 is a 8-Pin DIP, High Noise Immunity Logic Gate Optocoupler. It consists of an AlGaAs LED optically coupled to a high speed integrated logic gate with a Schmitt trigger input and a totem pole output. This optocoupler is ideally suited for high speed logic interfacing, input/output isolation, as well as eliminating ground loop problems. The FOD0701's excellent common mode transient immunity (10,000 V/µs minimum) and high CTR make it useful in noisy environments.
