The MP1584EN-LF is a high-frequency, synchronous, rectified, step-down, switch-mode converter with built-in power MOSFETs. It employs a constant-on-time (COT) control scheme, which provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. The MP1584EN-LF operates with a 4.5V to 28V input voltage range and delivers up to 3A of output current. The output voltage can be regulated as low as 0.8V. The MP1584EN-LF requires a minimal number of readily available, standard, external components and is available in a space-saving 8-pin SOIC-EP package.
