Conversely, when the latch-enable input is low, the Q outputs are preserved at the levels set up at the D inputs prior to the transition of the LE from high to low.

The 74ACT16373DL features 3-state outputs, which include a disabled state. This allows for connection to a bus or multiple outputs without the risk of conflict. The 3-state control (OE) inputs are used to place the eight outputs in either a normal logic state (high or low) or the high-impedance state. In the high-impedance state, the outputs neither load the bus nor interfere with the operation of other drivers.

The device operates over a wide voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V, making it compatible with TTL (Transistor-Transistor Logic) levels, and it can drive up to 24mA at the output, ensuring good current drive capability.
