The HD3SS3412RUAR is an innovative product from Texas Instruments. It is a Type-C/Dual Type-A 2:1/1:2 Differential Switch, designed for selecting one of two sources to deliver to a single sink (2:1 mode) or routing from one source to one of two sinks (1:2 mode).

It supports USB 3.1 Gen2 (10 Gbps), Gen1 (5 Gbps), USB 2.0, and other high-speed interfaces.

Key features include low bit-to-bit skew, high channel-to-channel noise isolation, low and flat ON-state resistance (RON), and an excellent ON-state resistance match.

It also includes a VBUS pass-through switch, rated for a maximum of 1.1A DC current.

The device operates in a temperature range of -40C to 85C and is housed in a 3.5mm x 5.5mm QFN package. It is also RoHS compliant.
