The TC74ACT138F is a 3-to-8 line decoder/demultiplexer from Toshiba Semiconductor and Storage. This device accepts three binary weighted inputs (A0, A1, A2) and, depending on the state of three enable inputs (E1, E2, E3), provides eight mutually exclusive active-LOW outputs (Y0 to Y7). The device can be used as a decoder to convert a 3-bit binary address to one of eight output lines, or as a demultiplexer to route data from one input to one of eight outputs.
