The TC74HC373P is an octal D-type transparent latch. It consists of eight D-type latches with a common latch enable (LE) input and a common output enable (OE) input. When LE is high, data at the D inputs enter the latches. Data at the D inputs are transferred to the Q outputs when LE is high. The outputs follow the data as long as LE is held high. When LE transitions low, the data that was present at the D inputs at the time of the transition is latched. Output Enable (OE) controls the three-state outputs. When OE is low, the outputs are enabled. When OE is high, the outputs are in the high-impedance state. The device is available in a DIP14 package.
