Description

The MM74HC573 is a high-speed CMOS octal transparent latch with 3-STATE outputs manufactured by Fairchild/ON Semiconductor. It is pin-compatible with low-power Schottky TTL (LSTTL) devices while offering significantly improved performance due to its CMOS technology. This device contains eight D-type latches with a common Enable (E) input and a common Output Enable (OE) input.

Additional Details:

The MM74HC573 operates from a supply voltage (VCC) of 2V to 6V. When the Enable (E) input is HIGH, the Q outputs follow the data (D) inputs. When E is LOW, the outputs are latched and remain unchanged. When the Output Enable (OE) input is LOW, the outputs are enabled. When OE is HIGH, the outputs are in a high-impedance (Hi-Z) state. The device is available in various packages, including DIP and SOIC. The CMOS technology ensures very low input current, minimizing the load on driving circuits. The wide operating temperature range makes it suitable for industrial applications. The 3-STATE outputs allow multiple devices to share the same bus.
