LTC3402EMS#TR - High Efficiency, 2.25MHz Synchronous Step-Down Regulator from Linear Technology

The LTC3402EMS#TR is a high-performance, synchronous step-down regulator that is designed to deliver continuous output currents up to 600mA. Manufactured by Linear Technology, a leader in the design and production of high-performance analog integrated circuits, this regulator operates at a switching frequency of 2.25MHz which allows for a compact footprint using small, low-cost capacitors and inductors while providing a low noise operation.

The device is optimized for battery-powered systems with its wide input voltage range from 2.5V to 5.5V, making it ideal for single cell Li-Ion or multi-cell alkaline/NiCd/NiMH applications as well as for 3.3V or 5V input rails. The LTC3402EMS#TR provides high efficiency over a wide range of load currents, thanks to its internal synchronous rectification and its low RDS(ON) internal switches.
