The Maxim Integrated MAX6920AWP+ is a state-of-the-art Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD) tube driver that is designed to cater to the needs of high-voltage display applications. This 20-output, 76V, serial-interfaced VFD tube driver is a perfect solution for driving large VFD panels, offering a seamless interface for a variety of display applications.

With its compact 20-pin SO package, the MAX6920AWP+ is engineered to save space on your PCB while delivering high performance. This driver operates with a 2.7V to 5.5V logic supply voltage, making it compatible with a range of microcontrollers and logic devices. Its high voltage operation, up to 76V, allows for the driving of large VFD tubes that require higher voltages for the phosphor to illuminate.

The MAX6920AWP+ features a serial interface which simplifies the connection to microcontrollers, as it requires fewer I/O lines. This serial interface is SPI™/QSPI™/MICROWIRE™ compatible, offering versatility and ease of integration into existing systems. The device has a 25MHz serial clock frequency, enabling fast data transfer rates and responsive display updates.
