The Melexis Technologies NV 233254-MLX90614ESF-AAA is a digital infrared (IR) sensor with a sensing temperature range of -40°C to 85°C for local and -70°C to 380°C for remote sensing. It has a resolution of 16 bits and an accuracy of ±0.5°C (±4°C). The sensor is available in through hole mounting and has output types of PWM and SMBus. It also features sleep mode and is packaged in a TO-39 case. The operating voltage for the sensor is 4.5V to 5.5V and can be tested under 0°C to 60°C (240°C to 380°C) conditions.
