CD74HC73M Dual JK-Type Flip-Flop by Texas Instruments

The CD74HC73M is a high-speed CMOS Dual JK-Type Flip-Flop fabricated with silicon gate CMOS technology. It achieves the high-speed operation similar to equivalent Bipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining the CMOS low power dissipation. This integrated circuit is a versatile component for use in a wide range of digital applications, including counters, registers, and control circuits.

The CD74HC73M contains two independent negative-edge-triggered J-K flip-flops with individual J, K, reset, and clock inputs and complementary outputs. The J and K inputs must be stable prior to the high-to-low clock transition for predictable operation. The reset (R̅) input can reset the flip-flop to the low level when taken high regardless of the other inputs.
