Product Description

The SN74ALS832ADW is a high-quality integrated circuit that provides eight edge-triggered, D-type flip-flops with individual D inputs and O outputs. The clear (CLR) input affects all flip-flops and is accomplished by a low level at the CLR input. Additionally, the device boasts a buffered common clock (CP) and a buffered common output enable (OE).

Each flip-flop is designed to transfer data from the D input to the Q output on the clock (CP) rising edge. The 3-state outputs are controlled by the output enable (OE) input. When OE is low, the outputs are active and reflect the data present at the D inputs. When OE is high, the outputs are in a high-impedance state, which is essential for interfacing with bus-oriented systems.
