The SP1053 and SP1054 series TVS Diode Arrays (SPA® diodes) integrate multiple avalanche breakdown diodes assembled with proprietary silicon avalanche technology to protect each pin. This type of device is a unidirectional fully-encapsulated transient suppression diode in a compact 01005 plastic package; these two features are the first in the transient suppression diode array market. This reliable diode safely absorbs repetitive ESD strikes at ±8kV (SP1053) or ±30kV (SP1054) without performance degradation. In addition, each diode can safely withstand 1.0A (SP1053) and 2.5A (SP1054) surges with extremely low clamping voltages.
DK Corporation has developed the industry's first low-ESR soft-terminal laminated ceramic chip capacitors. This new CN series has terminal electrodes with a conductive resin layer, which can provide high mechanical strength and prevent substrate warpage. At the same time, the new laminated ceramic chip capacitors have a low ESR that is comparable to traditional products. CN series capacitors have 2.2 μF to 22 μF and rated voltages from 16 V to 100 V. Based on the X7R dielectric material, both the commercial grade grade and the automotive grade type of the new multilayer ceramic chip capacitors are available. The latter has passed AEC-Q200 certification, while the former will begin mass production and sales from April 2018.
Recently, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) announced the launch of two AEC-Q101-certified transmissive light sensors, the TCUT1630X01 and TCUT1800X01, for automotive and industrial applications. The Vishay Semiconductors TCUT1630X01 and TCUT1800X01 are available in small 5.5mm x 5.85mm x 7mm packages and are the industry's first 3-channel and 4-channel transmissive sensors.
Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) announced the introduction of the Power by LinearTM LTC2972, a dual-channel power system manager that monitors the current, power, and power consumption of intermediate bus inputs to point-of-load (POL) converters. Monitoring board power and energy usage is the first step in managing, optimizing, and reducing power consumption. It is designed to reduce server rack and data center cooling and utility costs. The LTC2972 conveniently provides input energy consumption (reported in joules) and run-time information through a PMBus interface, sharing host's heavy polling and computing tasks. When combined with digital measurements of the POL output voltage, current, and power, the LTC2972 provides long-term monitoring of power system conversion efficiency. The LTC2972 adds software-based, comprehensive monitoring and control to power systems on FPGAs, ASICs, and DSP circuit boards, accelerating time to market, improving system reliability, and optimizing board power consumption.
Littelfuse has introduced the PLED family with ultra-low holding current (only 21mA), which enables ballast drivers widely used in fluorescent tube outputs to be compatible with modern LED strings or tubes for replacement. Therefore, there is no need to discard ballasts that can still work when replacing fluorescent tubes with LED strings or lamps.
Semtech Corporation (Nasdaq:SMTC), a leading supplier of high-performance analog and mixed-signal semiconductor products and advanced algorithms, has announced the launch of its newest product line of its RClamp® low-capacity surge protection product platform. This new four-wire transient voltage suppressor (TVS) array provides high-inrush, low-capacitance transient voltage protection and features a device layout that is easy to layout. The new RClamp2594N device also minimizes capacitive loading on high-speed interfaces as a product optimized for telecommunications and industrial data interfaces to provide excellent protection against dangerous transient voltages.
Mitsubishi Electric Corporation will begin offering "400Gbps*1 small integrated EML*2 TOSA*3" new product samples on April 1. This product is used in the signal transmission module of communication speed 400Gbps high-capacity high-speed optical fiber communication, and it is the pioneer ※5 product that meets the IEEE 400GBASE-LR8 standard*4 with two TOSA. The new products will accelerate the high-speed and large-capacity communication speeds of optical fiber communication equipment stations such as data centers.
The TDK Group took the lead in introducing the first CeraChargeTM solid-state rechargeable battery with compact SMD technology. On request, the CeraCharge can perform charge and discharge cycle times from dozens of times up to 1000 times, with a compact EIA 1812 package size (4.5x3.2x1.1 mm), a rated voltage of 1.4V, and a capacity of 100 μAh. Can withstand up to several mA in a short time. Due to the use of SMD technology, the battery is very easy to deploy and can be soldered with reflow soldering technology to help customers reduce the production costs of end products.
The TDK Group has launched a new series of transponder coils with a high sensitivity for passive passive entry systems (PEPS) and other access control systems. Among them, the B82453C*A* series 3D transponder transponder coils are extremely compact, measuring only 11.5mmx12.5mmx3.6mm, with 6 different models, with sensitivity ranging from 45mV/μT to 83mV/μT, and inductance values ranging from 4.75mH to 13.2mH. . The transponder transponder coil has a center frequency of 125 kHz. The core geometry of the new 3D transponder transponder coils is optimized to make the sensitivity about 20% higher than that of previous-generation transponder transponder coils with similar geometries and inductance values or competitive products of the same type. This can significantly extend the effective effective distance of the wake-up function of the onboard PEPS system.
TDK Group's CeraLinkTM series capacitors have two new Thin-Wide (LP) products with a rated voltage of 900 VDC. Both models are SMT capacitors, capacitance is 0.25μF, and supports different connection types, of which B58031I9254M062 type with L-shaped terminals, size is 10.84x7.85x4mm; and B58031U9254M062 type
