TDK Group recently introduced a new type of EPCOS manganese-zinc (MnZn) based PC200 ferrite magnetic material with high frequency and low loss characteristics. The magnetic material is developed specifically for power supplies and frequency converters (with GaN-based fast switching power semiconductors) and has an optimized frequency range of 700kHz to 4MHz. When the switching frequency is from 1.8 MHz to 2 MHz and the operating temperature is 100°C, the maximum transmission power can be achieved. The maximum Curie temperature of the ferrite magnetic material is 250 °C.
TDK Corporation has expanded its lineup of chip varistors for automotive applications. The AVRH Series products have a maximum operating voltage of 19 V to 70 V and a capacitance range of 4.7 pF to 50 pF. This compact voltage protection device can be used in IEC 1005 operating conditions (EIA 0402) due to its compact size of only 1.0 mm x 0.5 mm x 0.5 mm, which enables the new component to be reduced by 75% in volume compared to existing components with comparable performance . The highly reliable AVRH series also has an operating temperature range of -55 to 150 °C, withstands 25 kV contact discharge, conforms to IEC 61000-4-2 and is AEC-Q200 certified.

TDK Corporation is pleased to announce that we have further expanded the TDK-Lambda brand EZA series isolated DC-DC converter product line and developed an 11 kW model (EZA11K) with an output power that is more than 4 times that of the current model. The company added this new product to the 2.5 kW model lineup to help customers reduce the size of their high-power devices. TDK-Lambda will begin selling this product in April this year.
